Fasp produce an excellent range of high quality seat swivels, we often use them in conversions we do ourselves and the fit and work really well. Fasp swivels are constructed using tough coated mild steel which is CNC formed to give rigid support to the seat whilst travelling and whilst relaxing.
The swivel is operated using a single pull lever at the front of the seat and once pulled the seat can be easily rotated a full 180 degrees, depending of course on how much room you have around the seat. The only locked position is straight ahead so once swivelled you can use the seat at any angle you like.
As with all swivels, the actual size of the swivel does take up some room so it will add about 30mm to the height of the seat.
These particular swivels will fit all VW Crafter models driver's seats from 2017 to present day. Fasp swivels are crash tested and have CE approval.
Lightweight at only 9.2KG.
Supplied with a full fitting kit. The handbrake will require to be mounted lower, but instructions are included as to how to do this.
NOTE: This swivel fits between the seat runners and original seat base, (the rear outer corners of the runners can be trimmed to avoid any damage to the door trim while rotating the seat if this is a concern). Some plastic seat surrounds may need trimming, but this is easily done. Some vehicles have locating pins as well as bolts for the seat runners, if your vehicle has these they will need to be cut off.
