A fine Officers travelling trunk. High quality japanned trunk with brass hand engraved name plate. to THE HON R.C.TROLLOPE NORTHAMPTON MILITIA'' The Northampton Militia was a militia regiment in the UK from 1763 to 1860. After 1860 it became the Northampton & Rutland Militia. The trunk came from the collection of a deceased collector and was stored in an outhouse  for many years.
