ALWAYS WEAR GLOVES WHEN HANDLING ROUGH GLASS! This piece is pretty different from any of the other ones that I have. It's almost a pink/ red/ clay color with grey, taupe, green, and teal colors. Slag glass Made in the Pittsburgh area of PA no later than the 1940s, but possibly much older. The specific Pittsburgh Plate Glass Co. plant that this piece came from opened in 1887 along the Allegheny River in Ford City, PA creating a boom town for a long time. This piece came from a man who worked in that plant in the 1940s. Requests for more photos and questions are always welcome!
