Up for sale is a used, fair condition, Meinl Percussion 31 1/2" wooden rainstick.  (More than likely it's referred to as a 32" rainstick but I wanted to include the actual length as to give you the most accurate description possible.)

The rainstick developed a crack so our Percussion Manager glued/repaired it and then touched up the paint with colored markers so the repaired area would blend in with the rest of the rainstick paint.  Wooden rainsticks are prone to cracking so there is no guaranty it won't crack in a different spot but the crack that it had has been repaired.   I have taken a close up photo of the repaired area, if you look closely you can tell the colored markers that we touched it up with don't match exactly but it does blend in nicely.

As with the majority of wooden rainsticks, the metal/nails that they drive into the wood for the items inside to bounce off of many times will work themselves out of the wood body a bit so care must be taken when handling the rainstick as to not cut yourself when using.  If you are familiar with wooden rainsticks already, you already know of this issue and to use caution when using it. I have taken some close up photos of what I am referring to.
