This is a NEW leather holster. It will need to be properly broken in. This is common for any new, high quality leather holster. The thumbsnap will seem "too short" at first. THIS IS NORMAL and should be expected. If you are uncomfortable breaking in a leather holster, or plan on returning it without doing due diligence, please do not buy it.
Youtube has several great videos on how to properly "break in a leather holster". The process is simple, should only take 5 minutes or so, and only requires your 2 hands. No special creams or lotions.
