I have a large collection of vintage record players and music centres which I need to reduce in size

These Bush systems were very good sounding back in the day - Roy Plomley of Desert Island Discs fame had one as his home system of choice

Allied to this, the styling and its very good cosmetic condition with it’s original box, packing and user guide compelled me to buy it for my collection

I also personally think that Garrard decks were a step above the BSR or Japanese decks that other music centres used

A cartridge with usable stylus and guard is fitted

As can be seen in the photos, there are only a few marks here and there and some worn silvering to the power button. The dust cover is particularly good with no cracks (including the hinge points) and only minor scratching which would polish out

It does need a good dose of looking at before use, something which I’m unlikely to get around to (too many projects) plus the fact that my wife doesn’t want it in our lounge meaning that it has made it’s way on to the sell list

The service manual including circuit diagrams and pcb layouts is readily available - last photo shows the front page

Collection only thank you. I am however happy to add additional packing and tape up the original box in preparation for you arranging collection and carriage at your cost and risk

The original box is 80 x 46 x 35 cm and the system weighs 15 kg packed up

If you are collecting and would like some suitable speakers to go with it, please let me know and I’ll sort some out, test them and list them. They won’t be Bush but will be period HiFi correct

Any questions, please ask and I’ll respond promptly
