A Georgian Vinaigrette (William IV), oval shape.
There are some simple decoration on the outer shell but they have faded due to use and polishing. I can still just about distinguish the letters FWL (too faint to photograph properly).
Large floral inner filigree grill in more of a yellow tone, with cornucopia.

The hallmarks are very clean on both half and complement themselves as follows:

Sterling Silver
Birmingham
Thomas Shaw
1883

Dimensions: 3.4 x 2.2 x 1.2 cm - please see size comparison with pound coin in photo.
Weight: 14.3 grams - please see scale in photo.

Condition: In acceptable condition. Unfortunately the two halves and the grill have come apart. The grill still fits perfectly and locks in but the top half does not stay shut and comes off easily. There are a few small bumps/indents (please see photos). It's a real shame because the grill is large and beautiful. If you are of the school of removing the patina, it'll look a lot shinier with a good polish.
