Italian jacquard silk ruffle bedspread from the 1950s in excellent condition.
Iridescent soft salmon pink, which changes from pink to cream depending on the light. It has with white flowers and stylised leaf decorations. 

This is a well made, expensive, thick silk which could be also be used as fabric for corsets and garments as well as curtains, upholstery, cushions. The fabric was my mother's, a wedding present, which she made into a bedspread. I took it back from Milan last year. 

Dimensions:  220 x 178 cm (or 2.20 x 1.78 meters)
Plus 43 cm pleated ruffle valance drop on 3 sides. 
Weight: about 1.8 kg

Condition: in excellent condition. Used very little. Great piping work.
