                                                      DESCRIPTION & CONDITION

This auction is for a VERY RARE, original 1973 lithograph poster of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in overall very good to excellent condition. 

This wonderful depiction of Snow white is a promo off-set lithograph poster that was issued in conjunction with the Springbok (a division of Hallmark cards) boxed jigsaw puzzle of the same image and period. The image goes back as far as the 1950s and has been used on various other Disney items, e.g. foreign movies, cards etc.. 

Because of its uniqueness and rarity, I'm not really sure if this was a (for industry only) store display or a special mail order form send away item that might have been inside the puzzle box.

 That said, this unusual (completely lacking any sort of logo or title) was issued rolled (no fold creases) is not in mint condition but very close to it (fine) for a used poster that's 50 years old.

The poster is labeled with the publishers small print on right lower portion and does have some age and usage related wear. 

I'm not sure if this poster was ever a crisp white but there is what is assumed to be overall, even, age related yellowing/toning. 

All four corners have one or multiple pin holes/tears and some areas of edges have a minor tears, creases, crushing but the image and overall poster is perfect for displaying, especially if framed properly.  There is also a very small area on the top right corner with a minor water drop stain. The backside has some minor storage soiling.

Keep in mind, this lovely, rare and unique poster can be restored to its original beauty but if that is not an option for you, as is, it is still be a very displayable poster. Once a matte board is laid over the damaged areas and framed, no one will ever notice the small flaws.
