Nobel Prize winning physicist Wilhelm Wien autograph postcard signed to his mother, postmarked from Sevilla, Spain on 24 March 1901. One of the earliest recipients of the Nobel Prize, Wien also founded Wien's displacement law, and developed theories that laid the groundwork for quantum mechanics. Postcard of the Sevilla Cathedral measures 5.5" x 3.625", composed in German with Wien also signing his name on the address panel as addressed to his mother, "Mrs. C. Wien". Mild wear and toning, in very good plus condition.
