A fine quality, rare Japanese shōtai shippō enamel vase. The vase has amazing detail with a landscape with mountains, a temple and waterfall, a figure on a vessel, foliage - it's beautiful. This vase is possibly an Ando workshop piece. The vase is just under 5 inches (13cm) tall and is in excellent condition with just one possible small line right beneath the rim (the tip of the pen is pointing to it), and a few tiny scratches. Please see the photos for details.
