Here is an Oregon Scientific WMR500 All-in-one Smart Weather Station. It is brand new and in its original packaging with all accessories. I opened it to test it and only then realised that the base station can't be hung on the wall, which is how I wanted to install it. I tested it and it works perfectly.

This is an extremely high quality, robust and accurate weather station from a well-regarded manufacturer that lives up to its 'professional' title. It originally sold for over £200.

IMPORTANT NOTE

When launched, the WMR500 could be accessed by a smartphone app. The app is no longer supported and does not work. For that reason alone, it has recently received some bad reviews. In fact, the weather station works perfectly without the app. The LCD screen shows all the information gathered by the sensors, local weather information and trends including:
  • weather forecast
  • barometric pressure
  • indoor and outdoor temperature & humidity
  • dew point
  • wind speed
  • wind direction
  • rainfall
  • current time and moon phase
The app was a nice-to-have which is no longer available. If you have your heart set of a weather station that connects to the internet and can be accessed via an app, this is not for you. If you want a top-quality weather station that displays its data on an indoor screen, I promise you won't be disappointed.
