For sale I have sterling silver pin cushion in the form of a ladies shoe.

This is a medium size and is clearly hallmarked to the side Birmingham, 1922 and made by Adie & Lovekin.

The silver is in fair condition for its age and the silver bow is still in position with no damage. The shoe has a split along its seam near to the toe and also on the underside of the heel where there is also a small crease. The damage appears to be historical and does not detract from its functionality. These are only noticeable when you look closely but need to be mentioned and are reflected in the asking price.

The cushion has been replaced with 50/50 walnut shell and 140 grade emery sand, to sharpen and prevent rust, and covered in purple velvet.

Dimensions are 8.5cm long x 2.25cm at its widest x 3.75cm tall.
