Each turn, players will draw one card from the category that they landed on. Each category invites the player to grow in a different area. Some cards ask players to share fond or important memories, prompting players to share about past victories and lessons learned. Some cards are action based, requiring you to do something right now, either alone or as a group.
Others are thought exercises that let the players open their minds and consider new perspectives. Action cards ask the player to commit to real world action and find accountability partners in the group, to stay in touch after the game and ensure you follow through.
Sometimes only the player that drew the card can take the action and score points, but often all players are invited to join in if they wish. This means all players have the option to share (or not) on all topics and activities that come up. The categories are:
MIND
The MIND category focuses on thought exercises and cognitive abilities. The cards will challenge players to think, consider new perspectives and challenge what they may consider to be "normal" or "obvious".
HEART
The HEART category is place to share about feelings, love and connection. Usually the cards will be open invitations to share something with the group, or an inspiring question to ponder together. This self-reflection is valuable for the player who is sharing, and an interesting chance for the other players to understand what is important to them.
TANGIBLES
The TANGIBLES category deals with real world events, physical sensations and things you can directly experience in the world. It keeps us grounded and focused on things that are real.
PEOPLE
Cards in the PEOPLE category are about the players relationships with the people in their life - friends, family, coworkers and intimate relationships. They may also deal with issues surrounding strangers, celebrities and people we don't know. Many cards in this set will encourage the player to do something to improve their relationships.
BODY
The BODY category will encourage the player to reflect on their physical health, including diet, nutrition, exercise, sleep and more. Most cards will inspire the player to commit to an action to improve their health in some way.
FALL FORWARD
FALL FORWARD is a time to reflect on your life lessons, or what's important to you. When drawing this card, you will miss a turn as you "reflect", but there will also be various benefits of taking time off, to help teach the importance of taking time for yourself and overcoming setbacks in real life.
