Gunkanjima is officially called "Hashima". It is located in Nagasaki City, Nagasaki Prefecture.
The island prospered as a coal mine where high-quality coal was mined until the latter half of 1965, when coal was discovered in the latter half of the 1800s and shifted to fossil fuels. It is also famous as a ruin such as a weathered building.
When you see Hashima from the land on the opposite shore, the silhouette reminiscent of a battleship (warship) of the Japanese Navy makes it known as a warship island.
It's not a warship, but it's the same name and scale, so it's a member of this series !? increase.
□ Runners are divided into "base part", "residential building part", and "crane and ship".
□ The residential building on the west side of the island is partly made into separate parts so that it is easy to reproduce the characteristic things and color tones.
□ In order to reproduce the surrounding sea surface, one blue-molded sea surface reproduction plate is attached.
□ In addition to plastic parts, service stickers and decals are included to reproduce the windows lined up in an orderly manner.
□ We have reproduced a slope called the hell stairs leading from the northwest to the hill.
The southern pool has also been reproduced with delicate sculptures.
□ The trace of the elevator shaft in Building No. 65 (Houkoku Dormitory) is also shaped.
□ In the coal mine area on the east side of the island, equipment and accompanying vessels were prepared as separate parts in order to create a three-dimensional model.
