This long-awaited ash-body 1954 model celebrates the 70th anniversary of the Strat!
American Vintage II is a series of highly accurate reproductions of the revolutionary electric guitars and basses that changed the course of music history. The 70th Anniversary 1954 Stratocaster commemorates the events of the legendary guitar icon's birth 70 years ago.
Finished in nitrocellulose lacquer, the two-piece ash body is full of vintage charm. The one-piece maple neck with 7.25" radius fingerboard with vintage frets offers the smooth playability that players have come to love over the decades.
The 70th Anniversary 1954 Single-Coil Strat pickups produce a wide range of sounds, from the shimmering clean tones of a Stratocaster to a glossy driving sound.
Other details include a synchronized tremolo with cold rolled steel block and bent steel saddle that faithfully reproduces vintage specifications; Fender Deluxe tuning machines; and a 1-ply pickguard with period-accurate pickup covers, switch tips, and control knobs.
