Old antique Victorian Ball Invitation. Dated December 31st, 1888. The Fifth Annual Ball was put on by the Defiance Fire Department at City Hall. Admission was $1.00. Printed by Defiance Democrat Print. Folding card with scalloped edges with red and gold highlighting. Top part of the fold shows the years....1888-9. It’s printed in gold. Backside states the names of committee members along with the floor managers. Excellent condition for a piece of ephemera that is 136 years old.
