These two outfits date to the late 1930s-1940s and are in very good + condition.  Boy's outfit consists of double breasted coat, leggings & hat; hat has ear & neck flaps.  Girls outfit is coat, two leggings & hat.  The boys has two labels:  'Duchess Chinchilla of Somersville' and 'Fieldston Grow a Year'.  It is not sized.  The coat measures 21" from top back of collar to hem; the outside of sleeves 13" long.  The leggings measure 24" from waist and the adjustable straps are 21" long.    The leggings have leather straps to go around the shoes.  I see no defects other than a small 1" tear on the  nderside of the right sleeve in the coat as shown.  This outfit has been freshly dry cleaned.
The girl's outfit also is also not sized.  The coat measures 23" from top of back collar to hem; sleeves are 15".  One pair leggings are 24" long (no straps); the second legings are 29" long plus 20" straps.  The elastic straps for  under shoes are worn & dry on both pairs.  The  longer leggings are a slightly lighter shade of brown.  There are some  small stains and I see one tiny moth issue on the coat (about 1/4 by 1/2 inch which I have tried to show in next to last pic) but I see no other defects.  This outfit has not been cleaned.  All pieces are lined.  Zippers all work smoothly.  Just two wonderful survivors of another generation.
