Wilhelm Schiller & Son pottery, large majolica shelf pair gorgeous, 1880 Age: 1880's Origin: Czech Republic Maker: Wilhelm Schiller & Son Condition: Great, collectible condition, the pictures show it perfectly. The colors of the painting are flawless, lively and bright. Made with beautifully formed shapes. The two shelves function as a pair, but one is smaller than the other and they differ slightly in appearance. Both signed and numbered with official marks on the back and old Hungarian pre-war auction etiquettes are visible aswell. Both have a factory design on the top back for wall mounting. Pieces made in typical beautiful baroque style. The price is for two pieces. The entire presentation is extremely attractive and colorful. It is considered a rarity in this age, never seen a majolica shelf from this brand mainly corner shelves. The shelves are beautifully shaped with a very flashy design. There are several figurative representations on the shelves, such as flowers on the smaller one's side. The shapes stand out from the space very impressively, this is what makes this piece so special. The photos don't reflect its true beauty. A truly beautiful collector's item.
