Vintage Philco Transitone #52-540 Portable  Bakelite Tabletop Radio NOT Working

Vintage Bakelite cabinet table model tube radio made by Philco with model number 52-540. This piece was plugged in and I don't think it came on. Purchase as if it may require additional parts or repair to function as intended. The Surfaces show light wear. The Item as a whole shows an age-appropriate patina. Original labels remain affixed to the underside of the base showing appropriate yellowing and wear. The rear access panel is intact. The Interior is dusty consistent with age. Item measures 5½" top to bottom by 10¾" wide by 5¼" in depth. If you're ready for a project this true vintage radio is ready to be restored.
