This old Classic comes fitted with a Daihatsu 2.5 n/a diesel engine conversion. This is a very good little engine and much better than the older Perkins conversions that were very common back in the 1980s. We do have a very nice RRC 200 TDI with the 5 speed LT77 transmission or an original Rover 3.5 V8 we can sell to go with the car if preferred and we can quote to provide either of these options.
The work has been started on this vehicle and the price includes all of the work to complete the restoration of this vehicle. This will mean all rot and corrosion being removed from the chassis and bodyshell. A respray of the car inside and out and a clean and usable interior being fitted. We will also fully overhaul the brake/clutch, suspension, steering, fuel and exhaust systems. The car will be fitted with refurbished wheels with new tyres and all mechanical components will be checked and replaced as necessary including a full service of engine, transmission and the axles.
