An original 1930's-40's German Rural Police Officer's greatcoat.

1st Leutenant rank. ( Oberleutnant)

A beautiful example of quality German police wool with rural police ( Gendarmerie) orange piping.

As per regulations, there is no insignia other than rank.

It's very well made with only a few moth holes.  Officer quality tailoring.

It has an inside slit made for a sword hanger to be fed through to the wearers belt.

A stain is inside the liner at the back. It would probably wash out if you wanted to remove it.

Very well made & 2.3kg heavy.
