VTG 1987 James Dean Foundation Collector Framed Print 37 X 12 Photo Poster Rare

product image
✅This a RARE VINTAGE large beautiful Lithograph/Poster colorized of James Dean, as he poses in front of church in a scene from the film 'East Of Eden', 1955. (Photo by Warner Brothers/Getty Images).

✅It’s framed in faux gold metal, with plastic covering the print.
It measures approximately 37 X 12 (in inches).

✅It was reproduced in 1987 under license in the USA. The Lithograph/Poster is Rare and Out-Of-Print. It reads on the side of the poster: “Published in 1987 by James Dean Foundation, Under License, Authorized By Curtis Licensing Corp, Indianapolis Indiana,”.

✅Condition: Poster is in Pretty Good (G) Condition, has been stored in my outbuilding for many years, The print itself is not ripped or torn really, it’s small damage is mostly on the bottom of the print from storage/moisture (can’t really notice it when hanging up though). Selling due to needing more space.

✅The frame and plastic on the front has seen better days and the plastic can be replaced easily and inexpensively, it has lots of scuffs and scratches on the plastic from my storage and moves, so I would rate it Fair Condition, The frame and plastic needs a little TLC and needs to go to a good home. Again not perfect but rare and priced to sell. Stains on bottom back of the frame and some water damage to the cardboard backing as shown. Again you don’t see it, once you hang it up.

‼️Note: If you’re meticulous please view all photos carefully. Thanks for looking. Reasonable offers will be considered. Or buy it now before it’s gone.

✅About James Dean:

James Byron Dean (February 8, 1931 – September 30, 1955) was an American actor with a career that lasted five years until his death. His roles typified teenage disillusionment and social estrangement of his time. He had uncredited gigs from 1951 to 1953 before starring as a rebellious son attempting to win his father's approval in East of Eden (1955). In Rebel Without a Cause (1955), he portrayed a teenager frustrated with his family and social life. His last lead role was a Texan rancher who discovered oil and became rich, in Giant (1956).

✅Details about the film:

In this film based on John Steinbeck's epic novel, Cal Trask (James Dean), the son of a California farmer (Raymond Massey), feels that his father cares only about his brother, Aron (Richard Davalos). When Cal embarks on a business venture to gain the favor of his dad, he finds himself dealing with his estranged mother (Jo Van Fleet), now the owner of a brothel, and tensions in the family rise even further when he begins to fall for Aron's girlfriend, Abra (Julie Harris).
