This listing is for a DVDO ISCAN Dou Video Processor with 8 HDMI 1.3 inputs, 2 HDMI 1.3 video/audio outputs, and an HDMI 1.3 audio only output. Can upscale any video input up to 1080p. Listing includes the video processor itself as well as the AC Power Adapter and the official remote.
The unit will power on and display video. The reason this listing is "for parts or not working" is for the following reasons:
1) unit does not always power on when first plugged. It may be an issue with the ac adapter. It usually works with the 2nd or 3rd attempt
2) hdmi inputs seem unreliable as the DVDO may detect no-signal even when the other device is outputting a signal. It seems borderline random.
beyond these two things everything else works as intended. Composite, component, VGA, RCA audio, coax audio and toslink inputs all work as intended. The HDMI outputs plus the coax & toslink audio outputs also work. LCD panel display works as well.
The existing issues may be a simple fix for someone with experience troubleshooting AV equipment but I don't have nor do I know someone near me with such experience. This is a versatile video processor with inputs for analog sources modern retail video processors don't support anymore. Useful for anyone with vintage AV equipment such as VCRs, laserdisc players, retro video game consoles and older computers with pre dvi/hdmi outputs.
