If using this style ring set in a Tremec TR-6060 6 Speed that originally had 1st thru 4th Outer Steels that had less teeth than the ones supplied in kit, the Outer Teeth can be machined off to match the original outer steels on 1st thru 4th. It is NOT REQUIRED to do this. But, it will help the synchronizer sliders engage the outer steels better for crisper/cleaner shifting at higher rpm's.
This Kit can be used in Ford GT500, Chevrolet Camaro, Chevrolet Corvette, Dodge Challenger, Dodge Viper, among many other Tremec TR-6060 6 Speed Transmissions.
