Rare! Antique French Chintz Floral Bird Linen Textile 1820's
Stunning early 19th C Chintz roller printed on finely woven linen. The vibrancy of these colors in person is incredible!
Deep to light fuchsia pinks/red, purples, pale greens and browns on a pale beige ground. My photos could not capture the beauty tones, it's absolutely stunning in person. The ground is a true beige (not off white).

Condition: antique, over 200 yrs. old. There are some threadbare areas, tiny holes and slits as shown in the photos. There is no trace of glaze, the material is week and surely best displayed with a natural fabric backing. It is not strong enough for any sewing project. Overall the colors look as though they were printed yesterday, they are stunning!
This rare early 19th C French panel would make a stunning wall display.... it's a masterpiece!
