For sale is a Sigma DP3 Merrill Digital camera with the Foveon X3 CMOS sensor that produces a single 46 megapixel image when using Sigma's own software. The sensor in this camera is unlike any other out there and with it's triple layer technology, can produce images with DSLR like quality from a tiny compact.
There were three versions of the Merrill camera, this is the DP3 with the 50mm f/2.8 lens (~75mm equivalent on 35mm film) meaning the lens has a slight telephoto look which is great for portraits or bokeh shots.
The camera is in perfect operational condition. Included is a lens cap, battery, and third party charger. (No SD card included)
I have tested this camera and it works great, but there is a small cosmetic crack on the rear LCD (see pics). This crack has no effect on the LCD itself, the entire screen works fine with no dead pixels. The crack is only cosmetic.
