Of interest for the heavily gold tooled leather binding signed G. Cecchi Firenze at the bottom of the spine.  Cecchi opened in 1872 (the label with the established date is not from this book) and this book dates from late 19th or early 20th century.  There is considerable wear at the hinges, but still a very attractive and unusual signed binding
