LENA HORNE WAS A SINGER/ACTRESS/DANCER/AND CIVIL RIGHTS ACTIVIST, WHO WAS ACTIVE FROM 1933-2000. IN ADDITION TO HER APPEARANCES ON TV SHOWS SUCH AS THE ED SULLIVAN SHOW, SHE ALSO STARRED WITH HARRY BELAFONTE IN THE 1973 TV SERIES "HARRY & LENA".
LENA HORNE DIED MAY 9, 2010.
