Gold-plated commemorative camera with alligator-leather covering. Heidosmat f/2.8 80mm viewing lens and a Schneider Xenotar f/2.8 80mm taking lens in a Synchro-Compur shutter.
Camera made in 1983 in a limited edition of 1,500 pieces (no. 8301268).
Camera is brand new and unused, having been purchased in an auction over a decade ago. Comes complete with belt (brand new and unopened) and gorgeous wooden maker's box with red lining. There is a very minor imperfection to the back of the box - i.e. a small strip of wood has peeled up from the surface, but remains attached. Nothing to reduce its majesty and not visible to the naked eye.
An exceedingly rare and beautiful item which belongs in a museum.
