This item is a Vintage Pastry Cutter - Metal/Wood. The item is in good condition/missing ferrule. It works fine without it. The metal roller stays in the handle fine when rolling. You might be able to buy or make a ferrule for it. It also makes it easier to take apart to clean. Makes a nice beautiful thick ridged cut on any dough. Great for cookies !!!
