USS Kirk Brass Presentation Plaque on Hardwood Base.

Commissioned 9 September 1972

Decommissioned 6 August 1993

Fate: Transferred to the Taiwanese Navy

The plaque was made in the USA by Paul W. Zimmerman Foundries.

The plaque hung in my office at the Long Beach Naval Station in the early to mid 90’s and after the base closure had been safely stored.
