Antique or Vintage Highly Ornate Carved Wooden Frame Stunning

Lovely picture frame with stunningly ornate carving all over. The back part that covers the glass seems to me to be pine, but I don't know whether the rest of it is pine, or what wood it is. I don't know the age but it certainly has some age to it, possibly even older than 1900.

The stand isn't fixed, it goes right over, so the frame can be positioned in different places at different angles, just not advised to put on a slippery surface.

I have taken loads of pictures for you to look at and you can see how ornately carved it is as well as a few damaged bits, which doesn't detract from the overall item. The pictures form part of the description as they show the damage better than I could describe.

It measures just under 9" high x 5.5" wide. The actual picture area is 3.75" x 2.25".

Please note there is a small charge for wrapping materials, they have gone up a lot so I cannot swallow it anymore.
