Lovely large studio vase in a tall jug design a mix of shades of gloss glazes. 23 cm high 17 cms wide to include handle 6 cm diameter rim 7.5 cm diameter base. Marked on base MJL (indistinct in image apologies) said to be M J Lewis a Dorset /West Country potter.
Gloss glaze pale beige white top light brown gloss middle band with darker brown drip glaze dark brown over rust base section with metallic hue. Large 2 tone handle, brown glazed interior. No chips, cracks or crazing.
