B-17 Pilot & Co-Pilot
Control Wheel
MICROPHONE SWITCH

Genuine & original WWII equipment, this B-17 Microphone Switch was actually removed from one of the Kingman Bombers after WWII. And because the majority of those ships were combat veterans, here's a chance to own a piece of history that may have actually been in the air over Axis territory during WWII!

The Flying Fortress used 2 of these unique Switches for cockpit Microphones, one for the Co-Pilot's right thumb on his Control Wheel and one for the left thumb on the Pilot's Control Wheel - the very type Gregory Peck is about to press in the 12 O'CLOCK HIGH image above.
An identical third Switch labeled Globe Test was used to function check the bulbs in the B-17G's main Instrument Panel, pointed out in another image above. Therefore the Flying Fortress used a total of 3 of these Switches.
