VOLKSWAGEN 411 LE

This is a rare opportunity to own a Volkswagen 411 LE, ONE OF 3 Right hand drive 2 door cars remaining in the UK.

Sold as a full rolling restoration project.

1972 Model with a full UK logbook showing 5 previous keepers.

Left the factory with its 1.7 air cooled injection engine, im told the same engine as used in the Porsche 914 cars.

The engine does turn over and in the next few days i plan on getting it running so i will up date on that.

( UP DATE )

HAD THE ENGINE RUNNING TODAY AND IT SOUNDS GREAT, starts on the key first time, ive added a video of this.

i am lead to believe it also has 100 bhp so no slug back in 1972.

4 speed manual gearbox, i think the 7 Rib one.

Rare Eberspacher heating system only made for 2 years mainly for the American market.

Showing only 12,115 miles but i have nothing at all to back this up only the logbook.

4 Matching Firestone F - 560 tyres, maybe original if it has only done 12,115 miles.

All matching VW glass

The headlights are in excellent condition, Hella made in Germany.

2 sets of carpets.

The interior is in good condition and looks to be complete, black leather type.

Original PYE radio

The roof lining is in excellent condition

Original fitted seat belts

The car does require a lot of welding, passenger floor pan needs replacing also some on the drivers.
Both inner and outer sills to.
There is other areas that need welding.
Your very welcome to view the car your self.

It rolls freely and holds on the handbrake.

Would make a beautiful car once finished and would be worth a few quid to the VW community / collector or for keeps.

I am based in Sheffield and quit flexible for viewings, i also have a full walk around video if anyone would like me to send that on via whatsapp.

I can offer a nationwide delivery service negotiable.

i will be uploading more pictures in the next few days.

I also have a full walk around video of the car if anyone wants me to send that on via Whatsapp.
My number can be found on my other listings.

Thanks for looking and happy bidding

Cheers,
John.
