Here is an early 1960's Futurama made in Sweden by Hagstrom.

The guitar has a moulded plastic front which is in good condition given its age, there are a few scratches which can be seen in the photos. The vinyl covering the back and sides is generally okay but please see photos for a few nicks to the front facing edges.

The neck and headstock are in good condition, they are covered in what seems to be a thick black paint, this is coming away slightly at the edge of the headstock (see photo) but this only affects the aesthetics and doesn't detract from playability.

The electrics all work (yes, every switch). It stays in tune and plays well - despite being over 60 years old it has a comfortable neck (not a baseball bat), frets are starting to show wear but it has plenty of life left.

The guitar is quite lightweight so if your back is ruined from playing a Les Paul it might be a relief to play this instead!

The guitar is essentially now a hardtail as it is missing the tremolo arm and mount and I understand these are a custom fit for the tremar bridge unit, it is also missing one string mount pin for the first string (which doesn't affect usability at all and the string ball just holds the string in place instead - see bridge photo for clarification). The bridge potentially needing replacement, if you don't want to keep it a hardtail, has been reflected in the price.

Genuinely nice little guitar which looks cool and is a bit different, selling as I have others I play more.

Based in Huddersfield and cash on collection is much preferred.

Happy to let you try it out for yourself through an amp too.

Any questions please ask.

Thanks!
