When I first acquired this receiver it was in excellent near mint condition but did have a major issue. It was missing the volume knob and the knob shaft was broken off flush with the front panel. I cleaned the potentiometer first and was able to drill a small hole in the shaft and super glued a screw in it. I cut off the head of the screw so it was sticking out about 3/4 of an inch. I had a knob that fit it and I applied some JB weld and attached it to the screw. It now works perfectly. When you adjust the volume the only way you know there was an issue is because I told you about it.
I tested it and it sounded wonderful, everything works as designed.
It did come with the proper Pioneer remote control. Has brand new alkaline batteries.The only minor issue with the remote is that you have to press the power button slightly harder to turn it off and on.
I only found one of htese receivers currently listed on eBay. It appears to be in good condition and is listed as working but does not come with a remote. It is selling shipped for $263. Mine is selling for 45% less, comes with a remote, is in excellent codntion, is fully working and most importantly you get the peace of mind of a full 60 day warranty with free retrun shipping.
