Another weekend full of creativity,

This 1929 steel fire extinguisher has some really cool panita to it, almost all of the original transfers from when it was produced still intact!

This was a little nightmare I will admit being steel with brass fittings the threads and all parts were so rusted I couldn't split by hand, so from this I had to get the angry spanner out and heat the metal until it was glowing then pop it split like a treat! Being a fire extinguisher luckily all the paint is fire retardant so didn't bubble or pop off.

Deep clean to original transfers bringing out the deep gold leaf colour, grease removal and proper wash inside to remove smells from the Carbon tetrachloride that was inside.

Finished off with all the brass trimmings including gold coloured cable with in-line switch, and to top it off finished with 3 coats of high Gloss laqure 👌

Thanks for looking, please note shade for illustration purposes only if one is required please do drop me a message.
