We’ve been selling karaoke since 1988. That’s a long time! When I wanted to put my business phone number in the Yellow Pages the “karaoke” category did not even exist. I had to list the business under “Musical Accompaniment”. I’ve seen a lot of changes in these three decades. The formats that we have used to listen to our music has gone from cassette tapes and Laser Discs to Compact Discs w/Graphics, MP3+G and digital downloads. The good news for those that still have a karaoke cd+g player is that we still have thousands of discs still available, many of them are rare and hard-to-find, such as this one.
This is indeed a unique offering of the songs of the one of the greatest alternative rock/grunge bands ever. Nirvana actually started in the 1987 but did not receive attention until after 1990. It was in that year that Kurt Cobain and Krist Novoselic added Dave Grohl as a drummer for the band. Most are familiar with 'Smells Like Teen Spirit' and 'Come As You Are' but this disc includes so much more. Some of us may know the other tracks that received airplay like 'All Apologies', 'Heart-Shaped Box' and 'Lithium' but this disc features some hard to find tracks such as 'Jesus Doesn't Want Me For A Sunbeam' and 'Where Did You Sleep Last Night'. Add in the other songs listed below and you've got an awesome collection from Nirvana to sing! This disc includes songs that are quite difficult to find, the twenty-one listed below.
