Made in Japan in the lawsuit era this bass is a very nice example of a Jazz bass with all the original hardware. The ashtray bridge cover which is quite tarnished with age conceals a second pickup.
The bass has paint wear to the body and general patina/tarnishing inline with a 50yr old instrument but has a lot of character and charm and no major dents or cracks. The important bits are that it plays fantastic, the vintage machine heads are in great condition, fret work is very good and the electronics all work as they should.
