The guitar has a slight lacquer chip on the front as well as some other dents to the black finish on back and sides. Some of the screws and chrome are rather aged looking with some oxidation.  People appear to pay good money these days for this kind of aged look on new guitars but this is the real thing! :)  There's also a square mark on the back where a sticker had been there, would probably polish out fine. The last few photos show all the imperfections.

Otherwise great guitar, much lighter than the real mccoy, I believe the body is basswood which makes it a lot easier to handle and hold for long periods / gigging etc.    The neck is made of some very nice wood, looks like a dark maple and all appears to be carved from one piece including the body.

Frets and board are in pretty good condition and has been treated to a clean and condition.  New ernie ball 10's on this one so it's ready to play and the pickups sound great, even Rob Chappers agrees:
