ATTENTION James Bond Fans! Up for sale is this now legendary 1960s vintage Gruen Precision 510 Swiss made mechanical wristwatch. This model is known as the “first” wrist watch worn by James Bond-007 played by Sean Connery in the 1962 movie Dr. No. The 510 then appeared in several subsequent Bond films and was thought to be Sean’s personal watch. This auction also includes its original red plastic box with gold accents! Great mid century modern style.

In all original lightly used condition it features an excellent silver white dial with gold hands and stick indexes. Shows a couple of light scratches and dings on the gold plated case. The hour hand has a small bend in it. The straight wind mechanical Swiss made 17 jewel movement is running strong and keeping excellent time. Newly installed acrylic crystal is clean and clear.

This watch has a medium sized 33 mm diameter case and is very comfortable on the wrist. The super clean Swiss made Gruen caliber 510 movement is running strong and keeping time. I don’t know its service history.

It’s fitted with a new 18 mm Spiedel black leather strap with yellow buckle. Let me know if you have any questions. Remember, keep time the vintage way!
