This is a vintage wooden bowl that was handmade in the Russian Federation and features the traditional red and gold design that is characteristic of the Khokhloma style. The bowl has a rich history, although its ownership history is not available. It measures 5 1/4" at top opening, 5 1/4" in height, approx. 7 1/2" across. There is some fading of the paint as shown in above pics.
