I've only found one other example of this sign; It sold back in 2018 and was not original... August Kern lettering was touched up.

It was also more faded than this one. It sold for a solid price. Look it up!

As with so many antique advertising items that are 100+ years old, there are generally very few, IF ANY to choose from with a particular piece. Each one is practically 'one of a kind'.

The image on this sign is amazing. And a classic Barber Supply item, no question.

There appears to be some paint on the bottom of the sign, perhaps someone painted around it at some point in it's history.

It doesn't distract too much as honestly, I only noticed while taking close-up photos. Perhaps it could be removed but it really doesn't hurt the presentation.

Honestly, I'd rather not sell this item. Get it before I change my mind.
