Up for sale is a beautifully handcrafted, one of a kind .835 silver demitasse spoon. This spoon was made out of Haitian $.10 coins from the 1880s, and was most likely manufactured in Haiti. The tail end of the spoon has been painstakingly carved, to isolate and more strongly represent the details of the palm tree, banners, and cannons that make up the reverse of a typical $.10 Haiti coin. The spoon weighs exactly 4.6 grams, and has developed an attractive Amber tarnish over the decades.

While you may not be able to scoop up much with this delicate little spoon, it is still a beautiful vintage piece that would make for a perfect conversation starter, coffee stirrer, whatever you like! Claim this quirky little silver spoon today.
