Modified Morris Minor (1968 2 door saloon) project that is not quite finished but has lots of nice bits and comes with a load of spares.

Selling as we are moving house and it’s fallen down the list of projects.

Runs, starts & stops on the drive, not ready to drive on the road so will need a trailer / transporter to take away.

The good bit being that I have got all the good bits you want and all the nuts and bolts have already been sworn at and un-seized.

Over £2,500 worth of parts that aren't standard, including

1275 engine from Healey Sprite

Type 9 gearbox with conversion kit (Ford bell-housing included, was planning on upgrading to Zetec at some point.)

Hydraulic clutch kit (remote reservoir)

Disc brakes on front, (Ford callipers, recently replaced)

Brake servo

Front anti roll bar

Shorter prop shaft

Big bore exhaust / manifold

Nicely set up single SU carb (HIF 44) / Osselli Torquemaster inlet manifold

New rear springs fitted about 1 year before going into garage to “rest”.

Poly-bushed all round

Oil pressure / water temp / rev counter

Wider rear wheels 165/70R14 Tyres, not sure on rim width

Inertia seat belts front & rear

Also have a ribbed gearbox - from the 1275 engine that has a broken tooth so needs rebuilding & original length prop

Extra spares, (most in the photos)

front ns wing

boot lid

loads of extra nuts / bolts etc.

pair of recon half shafts, (still in box from ESM)

couple of unused panels

door seals

Welding done:

Both inner front wings

Both A pillars

front floor new panels

both inner & outer sills new panels

rear floor in parts

rear hanger

rear inner arches

boot floor

There is a bit more to do, (isn’t there always?):

Cross member could do with bottom half doing, (it's starting to laminate a bit)

Front tie bar mounts

Around the rear wheel arches

Door bottoms

Tidying up. (IE grinding back.)

Stuff left to do:

Lights need wiring up

Fibreglass floor section over gearbox needs cutting / drilling and fitting.

Wings need to be properly attached, rear ones need a bit of work around the bottoms but aren’t to bad.

Engine core plug is weeping, only noticed once engine & gearbox went back in and didn’t want to try sorting it while in the car.

Paint preparation etc.

To be clear it really isn’t near enough complete to drive on the road, trailer / loader needed.

Don't bid if you aren't going to buy, if you want to come and look please do, based in East Sussex, (about 20 minutes from ESM).
