the R type Tappet is more "flat" then the std type that means the radius of the round shape is bigger , that means the open and close time is longer with the valve
(STD radius see 71-7008 std type inlet 750 twin , this can also replace the early STD tappet E3059  70-3059  STD tappet - part number without R)
(some 1968-80 exhaust tappets had been with extra oil hole see 70-8801 these tappets also have the R profile and can be replaced by this tappet
- with much better oil then they had in the 70th there is no need for this oilhole ,
there was also a STD Tappet with oil feed hole used mid 60th see 70-6329)

1 x 70-3059R  neuer R- Stößel in guter qualität
R ist ein stößel etwas flacher als ein std standard stößel , also der radius ist bei R größer, was etwas mehr steuerzeiten ergibt
die nummer E3059 (=70-3059) ohne das R war die Nummer für STD radius stößel
(STD stößel wie bei 750er Twin im einlass verbaut siehe 71-7008 , diese können den frühen pre unit 70-3059 standard stößel ersetzen)
(manche auslassstößel hatten 1968-80 eine ölbohrung diese sind im R profil und können dürch diesen stößel ohne bohrung ersetzt werden
 die extra schmierung ist bei den besseren ölen hinfällig, wenn sie diesen allerdings wollen siehe 70-8801 ,
auch gab es solche öl bohrungs stößel mit standard radius mitte der 60er jahre  , siehe 70-6329)
