A 1963 dated Royal Navy ‘Foul Weather Smock’


In Excellent condition given its 61 years old.


Constructed from a polyvinyl chloride fabric ‘PVC’ this material was considered cutting edge in the 1950s when these smocks were first introduced. Chosen for it’s waterproof & windproof properties which was unlike anything else available at the time.


This is a very clean example of these now rare and hard to find British military smocks.


Featuring a adjustable peaked hood, Belt at the waist and patch pockets to the lower front. Newey brass snap press studs adjustable hood & inner storm cuffs.


A serious militaria collectors piece.
