Any of these molds may contain some writing on the outside or small external chips, and a few do have slight imperfections inside, which I will always do my best to show in pictures. My molds are shipped taped together, at a minimum wrapped in bubble wrap with loose fill and boxed. That box then will be packed into a larger box with loose fill. Molds under 10 pounds may not be double boxed. Combined shipping is offered by request only before purchase. I'm always happy to check into the options and pricing for combining shipping. Once the packages are shipped, there will be no refunds for shipping discounts. Despite our best efforts, we cannot control the package handlers, and on rare occasions, molds do break. In the case that that happens, send a picture of the broken mold and you will receive a full refund for both the purchase and shipping cost. Our careful packaging, however, has been very successful with less than 25 broken in the last three years out of the last 3800+ that our family has shipped. Our shipping includes hundreds of international shipments, so you can be confident in the likelihood of receiving your molds intact. We understand that molds are special, and that many are irreplaceable, and we want the mold to arrive safely as badly as you want it to!
As for the quoted shipping price, it is not possible to put down a price that is the best shipping option for all regions. If I list with a flat price for shipping, then the person in my own state or the person across the country would have to pay the same amount for shipping. With calculated shipping, I cannot set it up to show you the best price by carrier and your area may be drastically cheaper with a different carrier. If the shipping price seems outrageous, feel free to send me a message with your zip code and I can pull up a quote and send the item by the best carrier available for the specific mold and your region.
I am also happy to combine shipping within reason for international shipments. In the case that you would like a combined quote for international shipping, I will get you a price, and if you are happy with the quote, I will create a new listing personally for you with a flat rate international shipping cost with the price agreed upon. We can make almost anything work!
I am very easy to work with, and if you need extra time to pay, all it takes is sending me a message letting me know when you plan to pay. If no message or payment has been received within three to four business days, your order will be cancelled for non-payment which will put a bad mark on your eBay account. I hate to do this to anyone, but all it takes is a simple message and the common courtesy of communication to avoid this problem.
Now, down to the details on this mold that you have been waiting for! :) This ceramic slip mold measures approximately 10 inches, by 5.5 inches, by 1.75 inches, and weighs around 4 pounds. The measurements of the pourable area of the church, for comparison, are approximately 4 inches tall by 2.75 inches wide. The inside of the mold is in good used condition.
